Here’s the deal: Yuh began life as a joint venture between Swissquote and PostFinance. In July 2025, Swissquote acquired PostFinance’s share in Yuh, meaning we’re now fully part of the Swissquote family. Yuh itself isn’t a bank, but all the banking and financial services offered through the Yuh app are provided by Swissquote, which is authorised by FINMA (the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority). This allows you to benefit from all the protections of Swiss banking law, including deposit protection of up to 100’000 CHF in the event of bankruptcy.
